Michel Kennell is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Studies. While at The University of Texas, Mrs. Kennell studied voice with David Small and performed with The University of Texas Chamber Choir. She has also performed with other awarded choirs such as Conspirare Symphonic Choir, Panoramic Voices, Austin Inversion Ensemble, and Austin Cantorum. In addition, she is the assistant director of contemporary acappella group, Carpe Soon, who in 2016 performed under the director of Deke Sharon at Carnegie Hall in New York City, music director for the "Pitch Perfect" films. Mrs. Kennell currently teaches and conducts all choirs in addition to teaching beginning piano. Mrs. Kennell's professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, and Texas Choral Directors Association.
